Originally founded in Atlanta in 1999, AB&K is a premiere design house encompassing experience in web design, development & architecture, identity design, print design and product design, and currently headquartered [yah, like we've got satellite offices] in Asheville, North Carolina. The slightly misbegotten brainchild of the slightly misbegotten T.E.D. Andrick, AB&K was incepted after years of our fearless leader working as a web monkey for both Fortune 500 and small start-up companies.

AB&K is not merely an award winning design house; our talents extend through design into the entire spectrum of marketing, development and problem-solving. We have experience in everything from guerilla and viral marketing to application architecture to interface design to template construction to screensavers to mammal tracking systems to online curriculums to nationally advertised contests to search engine optimization to online games to web refurbishment to database design to client and patient management systems to advertising specialties to hosted community systems to business planning & strategy -- we've done it all and our founder has done it professionally since Year One, back when the web was young.

We work in a wide variety of industries and with companies of various sizes and maturities. We also work within a broad scope of technologies including [but not limited to] Flash, PHP, Perl, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS, XML, and good old HTML [oooooh, we can't wait for HTML5]; we code by hand if we can get away with it. We've been known to drive, beat on and heavily customize content management systems -- and have designed and implemented quite literally several hundred unique templates. And, of course, we're literate in any number of graphics packages.

Despite all that chest-beating, you may be pleasantly surprised at how affordable we can be -- but you do have to pay us extra if you expect us to do Windows. [Just kidding. Well, kind of. Actually, no. We're full on MacOS/LAMP.]
